Nam Yang / London

The Nam Yang Martial Arts Association was founded in Singapore in 1954 by Master Ang Lian Huat. He learned several Fukienese martial arts including:
    Fukienese White Crane Martial Art ('Eng Chun Pei Ho')
    Tiger Art ('Tai Chor')
    Monkey Art
    Shaolin weapons systems
    Sun and Frost White Crane Soft Art ('Shuang Yang Pei Ho Rou Roen Chien')
    Chi Kung and external medicine.

 

The association in Singapore is now headed up by Master Tan Soh Tin, who was Master Ang's senior student. He has a wealth of knowledge and wisdom in Shaolin Kung Fu.

 

Master Iain Armstrong is Master Tan's disciple, head of Nam Yang UK and the Nam Yang Kung Fu Retreat. He has practised kung fu for over 30 years and is two times world kung fu champion.

Master Dougal Simmons is also Master Tan's disciple and began his martial arts training in 1986. He is now based in Singapore full time leading the training at our Singapore headquarters.
